2009ko Europar Legebiltzarrerako hauteskundeak 2009ko ekainaren 7 inguruan ospatuko dira Europar Batasunean herrialde bakoitzaren hauteskundeetarako egunaren arabera. Europar Legebiltzarrrerako 2009-2014 legealdirako eurodiputatuak aukeratu ziren.

Eurodiputatuak estatuka aukeratzen dira; herrialde bakoitzeko alderdi politikoek bere hautagaiak eta bere zerrendak aurkezten ditu. Hala ere, herrialde ezberdinetan dauden alderdi berdinek (adibidez, PSOE eta Frantziako Alderdi Sozialista) beraien artean aliantzak edo Europa mailako alderdiak sortzen dituzte.

Eserleku kopurua[aldatu | aldatu iturburu kodea]

Hauteskundeetarako Nizako Ituna erabiliko da. Itun horrek dioen bezala 732 eserleku banatuko dira estatu kideen arabera. Hala ere, Lisboako Ituna baieztatu zenean, 751 eserlekura igo zen kopurua.
