English: Hatchery Rising, the main spring for water from Lough Mask. Huge volumes of water travel underground between Lough Mask and Lough Corrib. Most emerges at this spring in the centre of the village of Cong. Before the Cong Canal robbed the spring of winter flows, it would have poured out more than 50 cubic metres a second in flood! |
