It is the flag of the maritime captaincy of Huelva with the shield of the province of Huelva. Español: Bandera inventada. Se trata de la bandera (contraseña marítima) de la antigua Provincia Marítima de Huelva (actualmente Capitanía Marítima de Huelva) correspondiente con el tramo de costa española que va desde la frontera portuguesa hasta el Faro de la Higuera, a la que se le ha añadido el escudo de la Provincia (división administrativa terrestre) de Huelva. Se trata de una bandera inventada y que nunca se ha usado ni por la Provincia (terrestre) de Huelva, ni por la Provincia (actual Capitanía) Marítima de Huelva.
