Hesperiidae lepidopteroen ordenako tximeleta-familia da. Guztira 7 edo 8 azpifamilia, 550 genero inguru eta 3500 espezie ditu. Mundu osoan bizi arren, Erdialdeko Amerikan eta Hego Amerikan dibertsitate handiago du.[1]
