William Coxe (1788ko martxoaren 17a - 1848ko ekainaren 8a), Royal Societyko kide, historialari ingelesa eta Eliza Anglikanoko apaiza izan zen, 1771 eta 1786. urteen artean nobleziaren bidaia lagun eta tutore gisa artiu zena. Hainbat lan historiko eta bidaldi liburu idatzi zituen Suitzaz, Errusiaz edota Poloniaz. 1771. urtean diakono izendatu zuten eta, ondoren, Salisbury inguruko Bemerton herriko erretore eta artxidiakonoa izan zen, 1786. urteaz geroztik bere heriotza arte.
