English: Ballyrobin House, Aldergrove (near the Int airport) Ballyrobin Country House dates back over 200 years. It was formerly a traditional farmhouse built of local field stones. In the early 1970s’ the building fell into a bad state of repair until it was purchased by Janice and Martin Kenny, who meticulously and lovingly restored it to open what as now fondly known locally, nationally and internationally as ‘The Ballyrobin’. Walking into Ballyrobin Country House is walking into a bygone era. The Pantry with its array of little tables, lit by the glow of the burning candles, the pitch pine panelling, nooks and crannies and the open turf fire burning, all set the scene for a visit to remember.
