English: The coat of arms of the commune of Galda de Jos, according to annex no. 1, consists of a triangular shield with rounded edges. In the upper part, in the red field, there is a wooden church with a tower, seen from the altar, with the side entrance and 5 windows. At the bottom, in the blue field, is a silver rock. The shield is surmounted by a silver mural crown with a crenellated tower. The significance of the combined elements: The wooden church with a tower is old from the 15th century and is part of the national cultural heritage. The rock, declared a monument of nature, is called Piatra Cetii. The mural crown with a crenellated tower signifies the fact that the locality has the status of a commune.
Română: Stema comunei Galda de Jos, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile tăiate rotunjit. În partea superioară, în câmp rosu, se află o biserică de lemn cu un turn, văzută dinspre altar, cu intrarea în lateral si cu 5 ferestre. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o stâncă de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificatia elementelor însumate: Biserica de lemn cu un turn este veche din secolul al XV-lea si face parte din patrimoniul cultural national. Stânca, declarată monument al naturii, se numeste Piatra Cetii. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
