Marc Bolan, Mark Feld jaioa (Londres, 1947ko irailaren 30a - ibidem, 1977ko irailaren 16a ingeles musikari, abeslari, egile abeslari, musika ekoizle eta olerkaria izan zen. 1970eko hamarkadan glam rockaren aitzindarietako bat izan zen T. Rex taldearekin.
1960ko hamarkadan hasi zuen bere musika ibilbidea. 1967tik 1970era Tyrannosaurus Rex talde psikodelikoaren sortzaileetako bat izan zen.
1971ko martxoan BBCn purpurina aurpegian zuela egindako emanaldia glam rockaren hasieratzat jotzen da. 1971tik 1975era T. Rex taldeko kide izan zen. 1973tik, rocka funk, soul, gospel, disco eta R&B-rekin nahastu zuen.
Bolan auto istripu batean hil zen 1977ko martxoaren 16an.
