Richard Aldington, Edward Godfree Aldington izenarekin jaioa (Portsmouth, 1892ko uztailaren 8a – Sury-en-Vaux, 1962ko uztailaren 27a) ingeles idazlea izan zen.
Bi gurasoek liburuak idatzi eta argitaratu zituzten, eta etxean Europako literaturako eta literatura klasikoko liburutegi handi bat zegoen. Irakurtzeaz gain, tximeleten bildumazaletasuna, mendi-ibiliak eta hizkuntzak gustuko izan zituen Aldingtonek.
