English: Frida Kahlo, seated next to an agave plant, from a 1937 photo shoot for Vogue entitled "Señoras of Mexico".

This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: Long scratches, dust spots, and other such areas of small damage removed, some water damage at top edited out, general fixes, cropped to photograph, and a subtle exposure tweak (it was just a little bit on the light side)..

They have informed the Library in writing that they claim no rights to images for which the Library holds the negatives. However, privacy and publicity rights may apply.
