Català: Escut de Meliana, Horta Nord. Decret 1740/1967, 20-VII (BOE núm. 175, 24-VII). D'atzur, l'Ave Maria de sable, filetejada d'or, acompanyat de dos bolcants, d'argent. En punta, el cap d'or, carregat de quatre pals de gules. Al timbre, corona reial sense cimera. (El escudo del rey de Aragón en la heráldica valenciana. Archivo de Arte Valenciano, pág. 17).
