On Tuesday, February 1, the Wikimedia Foundation Web team made a technical change. It split the Vector skin from having two versions to being presented as two separate options in the list of skins in preferences. This change was intended to be purely technical and have no effects on your end. If everything had gone as planned, you would have had to go to preferences to notice the difference.
However, the change had a bug which switched some people from their selected interface of legacy Vector (2010 version) to the new Vector (2022 version). They had to do this even though they had explicitly requested the older version of the skin. We apologize for this inconvenience. To switch back to legacy Vector (2010 version), please go to the appearance tab in your preferences and select the option under the skin section (Itxura).
