Europako herrialde batzuetan (Errusia, Eslovakia, Txekia, Grezia, Italia eta Espainia, besteak beste) alargunak beltzez janzten ziren, kasu batzuetan denboraldi labur batez (urte pare bat), bestetan bizitza guztirako. Geroztik praktika hauek gutxitzen joan dira, egun hilobiratzean ea mezan soilik janzten direlarik.^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]
