Basque Wikipedia

There´s no mistake in that article. Basque Wikipedia has 100.000 articles but the sentence that you mention is this: "the creation of 10,000 topics in the Basque language to be published in Wikipedia"... in this context: "Lurdes Auzmendi, Deputy Secretary for Linguistic Policy in the Basque Government, stressed the importance of Microsoft's support for the Basque language via some of its most recent tools, and highlighted "some of the key projects that will get underway this year" such as "the creation of 10,000 topics in the Basque language to be published in Wikipedia; the activation of an automatic translation system and the creation of a Public Bank of Traslation Recall."
Basque Goverment wants create 10,000 articles in Basque Wikipedia, hiring a private company to create or to write those articles and to develop or to extend other articles already created. They have put that proposal to public tender here.

Yeah, Rhys, it´s very interesting project. But we have a "little" problem of comunication with the Basque Goverment: Basque Goverment wants to spend 200.000 euros in that project, but they don´t come into contact with the administrators of the Basque wikipedia to discuss the project or how to use that money. Like in the best Hollywood movies: to be continued... Agur / Hwyl!
