Larry Trask
Robert Lawrence "Larry" Trask (New York, 1944ko azaroaren 10a - 2004ko martxoaren 27a) euskal hizkuntzalari estatubatuarra izan zen.[1]
Biografia
Hasieran kimika ikasi bazuen ere, Peace Corps agentzian izan ondoren[2] hizkuntzalaritzari ekin zion. Londresko Unibertsitatean doktoretza lortu ondoren, Erresuma Batuko zenbait unibertsitatetan irakasle bilakatu eta katedraduna Sussexko Unibertsitatean[3].
Hizkuntzalaritza historikoa[4] eta euskal hizkuntzalaritza landu zituen[5] eta euskarazko hiztegi etimologikoa osatzen ari zela albo-esklerosi amiotrofikoak hil zuen[6][7][8].
Leverhulme Fellowship saria lortu zuen.
