William Harrison Ainsworth (Manchester, 1805eko otsailaren 4a - Reigate, 1882ko urtarrilaren 3a) ingeles eleberrigilea izan zen. Eleberri gotiko eta historikoa idatzi zuen. Zuzenbidea ikasi zuen, baina ez zitzaion lanbidea gustatu. Argitalpen-negozioan probatu ondoren, kazetaritzan eta literaturan aritu zen.
