Platsdarm
Platsdarm[1][2] bat (errusieraz: плацдарм; lit. place d'armes), ingeleseko lodgement hitzetik ostatu, babesleku edo aterpe modura ere ezaguna,[3] barrendegi militar bat da, oposizio jakin baten aurka hartu eta babestutakoa. Funtsean, defendaturiko eremu bateko zubi-buruaren, hondartza-buruaren edo aire-buruaren tamaina handitzearen ondorioz sorturiko eremua da, non, gutxienez, platsdarmaren atzaldeak, sute-lerro zuzenetik kanpo dauden.[4][5]
Horren adibide da Overlord Operazioa, Bigarren Mundu Gerran, Normandian, eskala-handiko platsdarm-ezartzea.[6]
