Isle of Beauty, Isle of Splendour (euskaraz: «Edertasunaren uhartea, distiraren uhartea») Dominikako ereserkia da. Isle of Beauty lehen hitzengatik ere ezaguna da. Hitzak Wilfred Oscar Morgan Pondenak (1912-1985) dira eta musika Lemuel McPherson Christianek (1913-2000) egina da. Estatu honetako hizkuntza ofizial bakarra den ingelesez dago.

Historia

1965ean konposatu zuten uharteko kanta nazionala bihurtzeko, lehen Egun Nazionalaren harira. 1967an Erresuma Batuarekiko estatu elkartua bilakatu zenean izendatu zuten formalki "kanta nazionala". 1967-1978 aldian gobernadorea zetorrenean God Save the Queen ereserki britainiarra jotzen zen eta Isle of Beauty, Isle of Splendour uharteko Lehen Ministroaren aurrean.

1978ko independentziarekin ereserki nazionala bihurtu zen.

Of this gem beyond compare.

Do the right, be firm, be fair.
