Lydia Lunch, jaiotzez Lydia Anne Koch (Rochester, New York, AEB, 1959ko ekainaren 2a) Estatu Batuetako abeslaria, aktorea, poeta, argazkilaria, zinema-gidoilaria eta idazlea da, eta Spoken Wordeko ikono handia, 70eko hamarkadaren bukaeratik musikan egon dena.[1][2]

1976an, 16 urte zituela, Lydia Lunchek Teenage Jesus & The Jerks sortu zuen James Chance saxofoi-jotzailearekin batera; handik gutxira, proiektua utzi eta The Contortions sortu zuen.[1]
