Janeane Marie Garofalo (Newton, New Jersey, AEB, 1964ko irailaren 28a) estatubatuar zuzeneko-komediantea, aktorea, ahots-artista, ekintzaile politikoa eta idazlea da.[1] Air America Radio-ren The Majority Report irratsaioko anfitrioikidea da. 2007ko abuztuaren 20an, FOX Network-en akzioko 24 telesailean parte hartuko zuela iragarri zen. Garofalok Janice Gold pertsonaia interpretatzu zuen, denboraldi berriko krisiaren ikertzaile-taldeko kide den FBIko agentea.[2][3]

Italiar-irlandar jatorria du. Gurasoak Exxon enpresako Carmine Garofalo exekutiboa eta Industria petrokimiko enpresa bateko idazkaritzan zegoen Joan Garofaloziren, azken hau minbiziz hil zen Janeanek 24 urte zituela.[4][5] Garofalo familia kontserbadore katoliko batean hazi zen.[6] Hainbat lekutan bizi izan zen, besteak beste, Ontario, Kalifornia; Madison, New Jersey; eta Katy, Texas, non James E. Taylor High School.en graduatu zen.
