Bizitza

Bathen jaio zen 1945eko abenduaren 17an. Bederatzi urte zituela, bere lehen «liburua» idatzi zuen, Meet the Maggots, 21 orrialde zituena. Eskolan Jacky Daydream ezizena jarri zioten, gerora autobiografiaren izenburu gisa erabili zuena.

Surreyko nesken eskolan eta Carshaltongo eskola teknikoan ikasi zuen. 16 urterekin eskola utzi ondoren, idazkari gisa trebatzen hasi zen, baina gero Thomson argitaletxearekin lanean hasi zen Jackie izeneko aldizkari berri batean.
